Plopsaqua De Panne was designed with the greatest care and attention for all our visitors. You are therefore welcome at the park for a splashing day out. The park is accessible with a pool wheelchair.
People with a disability benefit from the reduced rate of €20,50 for a ticket ≥ 1m. These tickets can only be purchased at the reception at the entrance to the park. Our staff are not authorised to make any assessment regarding a (non)visible disability. That is why we ask you to provide a valid declaration (maximum 1 year old) from an independent doctor confirming that you are unable to visit the park and/or the attractions without assistance and/or are unable to wait in queues. If you are a wheelchair user or blind, you do not need to provide this declaration.
The accompanying person of a wheelchair user or blind person is admitted free of charge. The normal admission rates apply to other accompanying persons. The accompanying person must be at least 18 years old.
A supervisor must be at least 18 years old and must be able to assist the person with a disability he/she is accompanying where necessary. Since our employees are not allowed to physically assist visitors in or out of the attractions, it is the responsibility of the supervisor to physically assist the person with a disability he/she is accompanying in and out of the attraction. The supervisor is also responsible for correctly and completely transferring the information regarding accessibility, specific information regarding safety and specific information in the event of evacuation of all attractions, of which he/she has taken note, to the person with a disability he/she is accompanying. Access to an attraction for a person with a disability is only permitted if the supervisor accompanies him/her in the attraction.
Upon presentation of your European Disability Card, you can obtain a ticket ≥ 1m at a reduced rate at the Plopsaqua De Panne ticket office. More information or to apply for a European Disibilty Card can be found here.
At parking 4 of Plopsaqua De Panne, parking spaces are reserved at the front (close to the entrance and exit to the car park) for disabled persons. These spaces are available to holders of a disabled parking ticket. The car park is paying for everyone.
Plopsaqua De Panne is easily accessible for people in wheelchairs. A limited number of swimming pool wheelchairs are available at the park reception. It is advisable to reserve your wheelchair in advance. When picking up a wheelchair, you will have to give your identity card as a deposit.
Assistance dogs are not allowed in the park.
Plopsa strives to make as many attractions as possible easily accessible to people with disabilities. Unfortunately, due to practical and safety reasons, this is not possible for every attraction. All visitors must always be able to sit, swim and hold on safely during the ride. In case of a possible evacuation, some attractions require good autonomy and self-reliance.
Some of our attractions require a full awareness of time and space to ensure safety during the ride. Therefore, some of our attractions are not accessible to persons with physical disabilities, the blind and persons with mental disabilities. For the deaf, all attractions are accessible subject to signing documents Declaration of Knowledge and visual confirmation on site of the "instructions attitude Sky Drop".
